Pubs in Treorchy

Park locals — kitchen hours on wet Tuesdays.

Treorchy pubs mix high-street locals with rooms toward the park — bar open does not mean the kitchen is serving. Saturday evenings fill the centre; this is not a Tonypandy street lock-in.

What to know

Where to eat

Fern & Ivy (High Street, opened August 2026) is the town's most talked-about new venue — a social enterprise restaurant where every profit is reinvested into community projects supporting children and families across the Rhondda. The interior, built in a former car parts shop, was designed to hold its own against Cardiff venues. It serves afternoon tea, cocktails, brunch and evening meals. The Treorchy Hotel Sports Bar is the pub-grub anchor; local chip shops on High Street cover the takeaway staple.
