Most visitors arrive by car. Cardiff Airport is closer than Manchester for most flights — pre-book private hire with luggage space.
The town centre to the park is a short hop.
Getting around
The town and park sit a short hop from each other. Hackney carriages use the Blaenau Gwent meter — the same table as Tredegar, not a second fare.

Ebbw Fach independents. Saturday fills the town; Sunday opening is thinner. FSA hygiene ratings run 0–5 — search the venue on food.gov.uk before you book.
Many cafes close by mid-afternoon. Tredegar is the clock sitting, not this park town.

Ebbw Fach hotels. Confirm breakfast, parking and cancellation on the venue's own site. Saturday fills the streets.

If something breaks
Gas Safe before any gas or boiler work. Electrical jobs should leave a certificate. We have not found a dated published Blaenau Gwent skip fee, so we do not quote a figure — confirm who applies with the skip company.

The town, park and station hop are the core. Tredegar is a day trip on the same taxi table. This town is not Newport.
If you only have a weekend
Walk the town and park, eat once with a checkable FSA rating, and sleep in town if you can. Leave Sunday without treating Tredegar as this page.
