Getting here
Most visitors arrive by train or car. Cardiff Airport is closer than Manchester for most flights — pre-book private hire with luggage space.
The halt to the village / shore is a short hop.
Getting around
The village sits toward the halt. Hackney carriages use the Carmarthenshire meter — not a neighbouring council's table.

Eat
Halt independents. FSA hygiene ratings run 0–5 — search the venue on food.gov.uk before you book.

Stay
Halt hotels. Confirm breakfast, parking and cancellation on the venue's own site. Saturday fills the streets.
This is not a harbour stay.
If something breaks
Gas Safe before any gas or boiler work. Electrical jobs should leave a certificate. Highway skips on a public road need a Carmarthenshire licence — £75 per month or part; confirm who applies.
Get scope and price in writing before walls open, especially on halt streets.

The halt, mudflats and shore hop are the core. Llansteffan is a day trip across the estuary.
If you only have a weekend
Walk the halt and shore, eat once with a checkable FSA rating, and sleep in the village if you can. Leave Sunday without treating Llansteffan as this page.
