Getting here
Most visitors arrive by train into Treforest, or by car on the A470. Cardiff Airport is closer than Manchester for most flights — pre-book private hire with luggage space.
The station to the campus is a short hop.
Getting around
The terraces, campus and station sit a short hop from each other. Hackney carriages use the RCT meter — the same table as Pontypridd, not a second fare.

Eat
Campus-edge independents. Term-time fills the terraces. FSA hygiene ratings run 0–5 — search the venue on food.gov.uk before you book.
Many cafes close by mid-afternoon. Pontypridd is the market sitting, not these terraces.
Stay
Campus-edge hotels. Confirm breakfast, parking and cancellation on the venue's own site. Term-time fills the streets.

If something breaks
Gas Safe before any gas or boiler work. Electrical jobs should leave a certificate. Highway skips on a public road need an RCT permit — £41.60 for 14 days on the skip-permit page.
