Treforest's best food destination is the Bunch of Grapes (Ynysybwl Road, Pontypridd, CF37 5YG, 01443 402934) — a national award-winning independent pub consistently recognised as one of Wales's finest craft-beer establishments, with an excellent kitchen using local Welsh produce. In Treforest itself, the university campus brings a cluster of cafés, pizza outlets and takeaways to Fothergill Street and the surrounding streets. Pontypridd town centre (1 mile) has the widest choice.
