What to know
Where to stay
Llanfairfechan has a small village accommodation offer; most visitors use it as a quiet base for walking the Carneddau range rather than a destination in itself. A handful of B&Bs serve the town. Conwy (6 miles east, full range of holiday accommodation including the walled town) and Bangor (5 miles west, university city with hotels) are the practical alternatives. The village's Victorian promenade is its defining feature — a sheltered pebble and sand beach backed by a flat seafront.
