Rhymney has no hotel. Visitors typically stay in Merthyr Tydfil (8 miles south, Premier Inn, Travelodge) or Caerphilly (9 miles, several guesthouses). Tredegar House (Newport, 20 miles, National Trust) and the Llangorse Lake area (Brecon Beacons, 15 miles) have B&Bs for those visiting the upper valleys for industrial heritage or walking. No Caerphilly levy.
