Parc & Dare Theatre on Station Road is a fine Edwardian miners' institute building, now a performing arts venue — the architecture alone is worth a look. The ridge above Treorchy (Pen Pych, 490m) is accessible from the town edge via Baglan Street footpaths, giving views down the full length of the Rhondda Fawr valley toward Porth and Pontypridd.
