A wet day in Tenby is not a Visit Wales list. Castle Hill in the rain is still outdoors. Pay for what has a roof.

Tenby Museum & Art Gallery

Independent museum on Castle Hill, SA70 7BP — not Cadw. From Tuesday 7 April 2026 the museum lists:

  • Adults £7
  • Concessions £6
  • Children under 13 free
  • Tickets valid 12 months
April–September hours on their site: Monday–Friday 10:00–16:00, last entry 15:30. October–March was listed as to be confirmed — check tenbymuseum.org.uk.

Cadw membership does not cover this museum. See Cadw vs National Trust.

What stays outside

The castle ruins and harbour walls are weather. Budget a café or the museum, not a dry castle tour.

Folly Farm and Heatherton are not in Tenby town — they are a drive. Do not treat them as a wet-day walk from the harbour.
