The Conwy Town Walls walk (1.1km, free) is the headline — among the most intact medieval town walls in Europe, you can walk stretches of the parapet for free. Enter from Vicarage Gardens car park or from the Berry Street end near the Smallest House in Great Britain (a two-room fisherman's cottage measuring 3m × 1.8m, open to visitors for a small fee). Conwy Castle (Cadw, paid entry) is one of the finest Edwardian castles anywhere — book online for a 5% discount and to guarantee entry in summer. Parking note: Market Place and Vicarage Gardens fill by 9:30am in peak summer; Morfa Bach (near the coast road tunnel) rarely fills completely and is your backup.
