What to know
Things to do
Taffs Well's unique claim is its natural warm spring — Ffynnon Taf (Taf's Well) is the only known natural warm spring in Wales, at a constant 21°C year-round, believed to have been used since Roman times. The Taff Trail (55-mile cycling and walking route, Cardiff Bay to Brecon) passes through the village and is one of Wales's most popular recreational routes. Castell Coch (Cadw, 1 mile south) is a Victorian Gothic fairy-tale castle designed by William Burges, the same architect who transformed Cardiff Castle.
